This describes what Ultimate CueSports Overlays actually collects, why, and who else ever sees it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it properly.
The short version. We hold your email address, the name you chose, and the scoreboard designs you save. We do not run analytics, we set no tracking cookies, we show no advertising, and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.
Your match recordings never reach us. They are created and saved entirely on your own computer — there is no upload, and no copy on our servers.
We store a bcrypt hash of your password, never the password itself. Hashing only works in one direction, so we genuinely cannot read it, recover it, or tell it to you — which is also why a reset sends you a link to choose a new password rather than emailing you the old one. Anyone who can email you your existing password is storing it in a way that we deliberately do not.
Google tells us your email address, your name, and a permanent identifier for your Google account. We never see or receive your Google password. If that email already has an account here, the two are linked so that either method signs you into the same account rather than creating a second one.
Live match state — scores, frames, potted balls, running clocks — is deliberately stripped out before a design is saved. We keep how your scoreboard looks, not what happened in your match.
Recording happens entirely inside your browser, on your machine, and the finished file is written straight to your own disk. No video or audio is ever uploaded to us. We cannot watch your matches, we hold no copy, and nothing about them appears in our database.
This is a consequence of how the product is built rather than a promise we are asking you to take on trust — there is no upload mechanism for recordings to travel through.
We do not profile you, score you, or feed your information into automated decisions about you.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we share it only with the services needed to run the product:
We may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it. Our servers are operated by GoDaddy and the streaming sync service is hosted in the Asia-Pacific region, so your information may be processed outside your own country.
We are not currently taking payments. If that changes, this page will be updated before it does.
One cookie, set when you sign in, so the site remembers it is you as you move between pages. It is removed when you sign out. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers on this site.
The product also stores your working design in your own browser so it survives a reload. That stays on your machine and is never transmitted to us unless you are signed in and it is saved to your account.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. You can exercise any of these by emailing us — we will not make you justify the request.
